1. Fast vs Slow Carbs

Fast Carbs (food with a high glycemic index) causes blood sugar level to spike and fall shortly after eating. Conversely, Slow Carbs (food with a low glycemic index) causes a smoother sugar response profile with less demand on our body's insulin function. We prefer more Slow than Fast Carbs.
2. Rainbow Carbs

Wholefood Carbs from colourful plants contain not only plant fibres but also important plant biochemicals (phytonutrients) that are essential to optimal our health.
