Optimal Arteries: Heart & Brain Health

17 May 2019, 5:30-7:00 pm.

Workshop Completed

The buildup of fatty deposits in the arteries our heart and brain are silent killers. Cholesterol have a role to play, but one-half of the people who have a heart attack have normal cholesterol levels. We now recognize the importance of genetics, lifestyle, environmental and nutritional factors in causing blocked arteries, and are able to look beyond our traditional understanding of cholesterol, blood pressure and blood sugars with modern diagnostics.

This workshop explores underlying drivers that promote artery hardening and blockage, and how we can use food and nutrients to optimize the health of our arteries and overall wellness; and how to optimise health and wellness with functional food-based solutions.
